Have you got everything?

Well, no. I'm pretty sure I don't. It’s a peculiar thing to pack a bag with a year in mind and I’m finding it's verging on the impossible. So whether I have or not, I shall board that flight to India tomorrow with or without it, whatever it is, and face the consequences. I suppose, when put like that, how bad can it be? It has been pointed out that I may be attempting to manage my travelling-related anxieties with meticulous preparation and an extensive kit-list. And that’s probably true. With so many aspects of the year ahead unplanned and unknown, I’m apprehensive, so that bar of solid hair conditioner, the antihistamines, and the head-torch are really, most definitely, and without a smidgen of doubt, totally and absolutely, essential.
